• Do you buy broken gold, single earrings and part sets?

  Every week. A snapped bangle, one jhumka, a chain with a broken clasp, a worn-through ring or dental gold is worth exactly the same per gram as an intact piece of the same carat. Bring the whole tin and we separate what carries value from what does not, at no charge.

• What do I need to bring, and how long is the offer valid?

  Photo identification (passport or driving licence) and, for larger sales, a recent proof of address, because we buy under UK anti-money-laundering rules. Any boxes, papers or receipts add to the figure for watches and signed pieces. The offer is written down and valid for 24 hours, so you can take it home and decide without anyone at your elbow.
